The dry chemical powder fire
extinguisher is one of the
most versatile fire
extinguishers available.
This extinguisher is
effective on Class A
(Carbonaceous material such
as paper), Class B
(Flammable liquids) & Class
C (Flammable gas) fires.
Therefore, dry powder is the
ideal extinguisher where
there is dangerous mixed
fire risks. Only fire
involving carbon disulphite
and flammable metals such as
magnesium and sodium should
be avoided.
Dry
chemical powder is a non
conductor of electricity and
is not dangerous to human
beings or animals and it is
a free flowing powder with a
composition based on
ammonium phosphate and
sulphate with special
additives to improve
fluidity and storage.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is effective on Class B (flammable
liquid) and Class C (gas)
fires. It is electrically
non conductive and does not
deposit residue therefore

Carbon dioxide fire extinguisher on trolley is made of
seamless Maganese steel to withstand high storage pressure. It is
effective on class B and class C fires and electrically non
conductive.
Carbon dioxide fire extinguisher on trolley is
used throughout industry as a protection against industrial fires
involving dangerous chemical and gas. Carbon dioxide does not
deteriorate with storage or freeze in the container. Carbon dioxide
disperses without leaving any contamination or corrosive residue and

suitable for class A and B fire and highly effective for flammable
liquid fire. Trolley units can be operated by one person and are
suitable for areas with high risk for fire such as industrial

The foam liquid extinguisher on trolley is highly
maneuverable and it is suitable for outbreaks of fire that cannot be
dealt with by using portable extinguishers. It is effective on
flammable liquid fire. This is a self contained foam production unit
which only requires connection to a suitable water supply (minimum
water supply required is 180 LPM at 5 bar). |
